Our most valuable resource is our people. We work with some of the smartest and most committed in the industry. We are an independent, strategic, 501 (c)(3) non-profit for people who care about children, teachers, literacy, education, and America’s future.
We are different. We are uniters. We have assembled the expertise, tools, and knowledge to ensure all children grow to become literate, educated, and career-ready young citizens.
We are teachers. We are moms and dads. We are business people. We are scholars. We are journalists. We are school board members. We are legislators. We are principals. We are grandparents. We are students. We are professionals.

We connect to make a difference. We collaborate with like-motivated organizations. Literate Nation is comprised mostly of an all volunteers army of skilled people. We give every bit we can to transform student literacy outcomes, community by community. We share all of our work, which already involves thousands of collaborators across the nation.
We offer the insights and intelligence needed to provide best-in-class instruction for all learners. We are building a nationwide organization dedicated to deeply engaging the talent of our nation’s best minds with the intellectual capital of our school system through ongoing implementation of research and development, which is escorted into classroom practice.

Literate Nation will be there to help you launch literacy success into the stratosphere for positive future opportunities. Our mission is ambitious—a literate nation. We started with the root problem of education—the most crucial foundation for an education—literacy.
We address early reading development and continue incorporating reading, writing and critical thinking solutions necessary for full student literacy—science literacy, fiscal literacy, code literacy, etc.
